I’ve been using Plantronics Voyager Legend for more than 10 years till 2019 and post their operations were closed in India and was later acquired to Polycom and finally HP. This headset is the best for those who use dual phones like me who carry iPhone and a Android one. The Voyager 5200 is the advance model of the Voyager Legend with the better quality. The noise cancellation, functionality works awesome with voice command even while riding a two wheeler. The only negative point is they could have added a USB Type C port instead of MicroUSB. Those who work at home for voice calls, and those who need to use headset all day, this is for them. Avoid buying lower quality earbuds and buy this. It’ll work for 3 years as per my experience.

Poor performance. Frequent disconnection from computer or phone. Patchy audio in ear. Same poor mic quality. No one I spoke was able to hear me properly. Really overpriced and overrated product.  Why did you pick this product vs others?:Looked compact and wanted a single ear headphone.Â

Magic.
I have used so many TWS, including the ones from Apple and Google. Although they are great at sound and music, use them to make a call from an Indian Road, and be ready to irritate everyone else.This is a one stop solution for professional calls. It is almost magical in its ability to wind down environment noises.Not perfect. Switching between laptop and phone can be improved. I had the bt700 dongle for laptop from the focus 2. It really makes connection to laptop perfect.They don’t have the option to buy the charger stand and dongle. It makes sense to have them. Charging port looks flimsy. Certainly don’t use the provided cable as it is very poor quality and will end up harming the ear piece.Also the earbuds could be better.But what it offers in terms of ENC, this product has NO competitor. No one comes close.

This is best headset in market. I have been using same model since 2016. Product is just awesome, no competition. But since this is now acquired by HP, it won’t be serviceable in India. It has rubber part which disintegrates every 1 to 1.5 yrs. And HP asks you to throw this in bin and purchase new one. Its one of the best product wasted by HP with its poor support. Sad to see.

This is my 2nd bluetooth Plantronics. Bought the same one again. Excellent product, great sound quality , good battery , easy to use, voice enabled, sturdy and doesn’t cause headache or ear blockage unlike buds. Only crux is availability and no improvement in its features. I am unable to connect to my laptop without an interface .

I have finally come back to the Voyager 5200, having tried 3 other devices. I find that the Voyager stands out from its competitors for a few reasons – the volume is louder, easy & quick to power on/off, it verbally updates you on how much power is left, it announces the name of the caller when answering a call. It only lacks the USB C charging port.

Still the best earpiece for daily use, earbuds can’t replace the utility.Pros- hands free answering and/or rejecting a call- light on the ear, sits on the surface so ambient sounds are natural- loud and clear when outdoors or in a crowd- Multipoint- press the button with not on a call and it’ll tell you how much talk-time is left and which devices its currently connected withcons- boom is a bit long- still uses micro-usb- doesn’t have NFC (i’m fine with that)
