    I wanted a small monitor to connect to a Roku so that I could have a mini TV on my home office desktop. After trying a couple of other brands, I purchased this Viewmei 8″ monitor and am very pleased with it. The bright little screen looks great. Audio is tinny sounding but that’s to be expected for such a small monitor. Overall I would label the speakers as adequate. Fortunately the monitor has a 3.mm jack, allowing headphones or external speakers to be connected. The metal case feels sturdy and doesn’t get hot after a day of use. An included stand is a nice bonus. It has a low profile design, which works great, especially since all of the monitor’s connections are on the side instead of the bottom. Speaking of connections, the monitor’s HDMI port is a mini – something not specified in the Amazon description. I use a short mini HDMI to HDMI angled 90° adapter cable to connect my Roku.

    Much better quality picture then I expected. I use it for a monitor for my AV control system. Only drawback is that you must have an HDMI input signal active for the screen to display, even to display the units menu.

    Using as a secondary monitor, works pretty good. Sound is from the built in speakers. Slightly tinny, but not bad at all. Picked up the stand from 5 below for cheap. I would recommend this if you need something small that still functions well. Comes with everything you need Cables, stand, etc. I just prefer this stand over the one in the box. If I had to change anything else, I would get cables that are more flexible, with the 90 degree angled plug for a cleaner look.
