   The Logitech Z906 speaker system is an excellent choice for those who desire the luxury of a Mercedes on a Toyota budget. Despite its affordability, it competes admirably with more expensive setups that include amplifiers from brands like Denon and Onkyo. This system stands out with its active subwoofer, a feature not commonly found in similar setups. For an in-depth understanding of what active subwoofers are capable of, I recommend checking out videos on YouTube.When it comes to music, the Z906 performs well, although I haven’t tested it for gaming. The experience with movies and Netflix is satisfactory. To accommodate my Fire TV Stick, I purchased an HDMI AV splitter from Amazon Basics, which works seamlessly with the system’s excellent Dolby decoding. The remote is quite responsive, and the system offers various configurations such as 2.1, 4.1, and 5.1, with Dolby DTS as a standard feature.The build quality of the speakers is impressive, and the subwoofer delivers exceptional performance. However, I do feel that the treble could be a bit more pronounced, as the bass and midrange are already phenomenal. One downside is the absence of Bluetooth connectivity and Atmos support. Nevertheless, the Z906 is a remarkable system that provides a rich audio experience.

   Great 5.1 amplifier.
   It’s a great 5.1 amplifier. Only thing it is lacking is interface for USB/ Bluetooth. But that is not a deterrent because that can be resolved by buying a small interface unit for the same which is readily available costing around 1200/-. Quite impressed with sound and surround effect. Really good amplifier.

   I’ve been using this speaker as my primary entertainment device connected to my tv,apple tv and xbox for almost 6 months now majorly i use this for movies and music so heres my thoughts its mostly pros because i haven’t found any issues with this system,.Sound quality – it has amazing loud sound to it 5 speakers work as charm and subwoofers is best in class easily can shake ur windows and other glass eliminates in ur homeSurround sound – before buy this system i did my own research about 5.1 avr systems and soundbars and let me tell u this if u truly want surround please avoid sound bars,logitech delivers amazing surround effects in 5.1 movies watching horror movies in dark room with this system is hell of a experience, netflix,prime,hotstar many apps supports 5.1 dolby sound via apple tv and it works very wellSupport – now this is main thing to consider before u go for this speakers, this sound system is very old compared to sony and other sound systems which u can get in market for same price point , u dont get earc option hdmi connectivity and all but let me tell u this im using this system connected via spdif cable and I haven’t miss a thing it works like charm no complaints whatsoever,RatingsMusic 10 out of 8 apple music on apple tv is amazing experience u can listen dolby atmos tracks on this system u can easily drop ur headphones or apple airpods pro for this systemMovies 10 out of 7, bass and everything is ok and very nice it is but some times with higher volume i think it loses bit quality but maybe u will not reach to that level because ur family wont allow that kind of loudnessGaming 10 out of 6 again same with gaming sound quality is amazing but sometimes i get hard time tracking subjects only with sound but it doesn’t matter muchVerdict – go for it with ur eyes closed u won’t regret this decision

   Ridiculously good value as long as you understand its limitations.
   It doesn’t have Bluetooth, it doesn’t have HDMI, it doesn’t have Atmos. There’s a lot of tech that’s “missing” but if all you want is really good surround sound for a small to medium home theater setup, there is no better option for the money. The Logitech Z906 is a cult classic with good reason. Setting it up is easy, the satellites and sub look elegant enough to blend in with your decor, and the sound is first class. Punches well above its weight. The full-range single unit drivers in the satellites means the absolute last level of detail in the treble may be a bit lacking, but it more than makes up for it with the sheer cohesion in the sound. For a home theatre setup this is a trade-off I would embrace any day. What surprised me was how good it sounds for music even! Overall, if you want to prioritise sound quality over features and your budget is around 30k or less, this is what you should get.

   Most of these lots have issues.
   The first order subwoofer grill was bent with affect the woofer and was crashing against the woofer. (Pic has been attached )This is a replacement order and worst than the previous one .Package dosnt feels like new. Subwoofer is damaged from one corner.About the product sound is good but features are less.

   Purchased the home theatre few days back and im totally satisfied…. 🥰🥰🥰 listening to Ilayaraja’s Butterfly in lossless audio is bliss, my father was amazed by the audio quality and he is a big fan of yani and Ilayaraja and now, I became one after hearing the audio through this beast.One con: woofer heats up crazy might require a cooler fan.

   Det tog lite tid att ansluta det nya musiksystemet till datorn, bra ljud med varm, kvalitativ bas.Så till det negativa;Baslådan blir farligt varm på baksidan, oavsett vilket läge den står på och oavsett om det kommer ljud från den.500 watt RMS !!! Knappast, möjligen 100 watt RMS! Jag har arbetat med ljud i många år som musiker och varit ansvarig för ljudet. Jag hade en gång två pa-högtalare på 250watt RMS och några andra musikanläggningar upp över åren, och kan därför konstatera att några 1000 watt eller 500 watt RMS är det inte frågan om här, möjligtvis 100 RMS!Så ja, därför är denna 5.1 anläggning från Logitech en besvikelse. Vi som kan ljud vet att ju kraftigare slutsteg/förstärkare man har ju renare, tydligare och bättre ljud får man. Jag har haft mycket bra ljudanläggning för datorer upp över åren just från Logitech som jag har varit mycket nöjd med, men detta 5.1 musikanläggning blev en stor besvikelse. Nu har jag testat det i över två månader. Ljudet verkar vara ok men står ändå inte till priset. Logitech borde ha upplyst om elförbrukningen och varför det blir så varmt bakom baslådan.Tips är att slå av anläggningen med fjärrkontrollen så fort du har lyssnat klart. För att avsluta här; I och med att det inte finns nån information om varken elförbrukningen, om den enorma värmen på baksidan av baslådan, samt att det så kallade 500 watt RMS verkar vara rena svindeln, så måtte jag ändra min recension och bara ge två stjärnor.Om jag ville köpt denna produkt om jag hade vetat alt detta? Svar; absolut NEJ.

Noch immer.Und zwar gnadenlos gut.Ich habe meine eigene Z906 seit 2019 in Betrieb, nun durfte ich sie meinem Cousin gönnen – quasi ein dynastischer Audiothronfolger.Verpackung schicker, Fernbedienung leicht modernisiert, Sound? Identisch mächtig.Das Teil hat alles, was ein Heimkino-Veteran braucht:• Toslink (optisch) – check• Koaxial digital – check• 3x 3.5mm Klinke für Analog-Veteranen – check• Direkte Lautsprecheranschlüsse – oldschool & zuverlässig• Subwoofer mit Herzmassage-Funktion – check• Satelliten, die an der Wand thronen wie kleine THX-gelobte Wächter – checkIch hab früher mit der Xbox One über Toslink gespeist, bin jetzt auf Xbox Series X umgestiegen.Kein optischer Ausgang mehr?     Fantastic sound for the money. Well balanced highs, not overly bright, punchy crisp bass (Maybe not enough for hardcore bass heads). Good controls and inputs. I do wish the control box was a bit smaller (it feels empty and a lot of wasted space). I’d like the knob top facing rather than front facing like their older design. The use of standard speaker wire is awesome. Standard 1/4″ x 20 threaded mounts but no included wall mounts 🫤 and no microphone input mute button. Included remote control is nice. Dolby DTS is awesome for movies! The 3D mode for Music/YouTube 👨‍🍳😘 is fantastic!
