A: To make sure it records even when your TV is off, plug the USB cable into a USB Adapter that’s connected to an electrical outlet, instead of your TV’s USB port. Also, make sure to “disable” the “Power On and Power Off” setting. You can find this in the menu under the clock icon. This way, the tuner stick gets its power directly from the outlet and can record on schedule!

Q: How can I schedule recordings for shows that air late at night or when I’m not home? ⏳

A: You can schedule recordings using the EPG or manually. Just click the “Timer Button” to set up your recordings, choosing if you want them daily, weekly, or just once. Your scheduled shows will be listed there too. Remember to plug the tuner stick into a USB adapter connected to an electrical outlet for this to work!

Q: How do I watch the shows I’ve recorded? 📺

A: After your shows are recorded, just hit the “PVR BUTTON” on your remote. You’ll see a small screen with your recordings. Press the “PVR BUTTON” again to enlarge the screen and watch your favorite recorded programs!

Q: What if I want to record a live show and still watch something else? 📺

A: Right now, you can’t switch to another channel while recording a live show. However, I’ve heard there might be ways to add extra features that let you do this!

Q: What do I need to consider if I plan on recording a lot of shows? 💾

A: If you plan on recording a lot, you’ll need a USB Thumb Drive. For a good amount of space, you’ll want one that’s anywhere from 64 GB to 500 GB. If you want to watch a recorded show while recording another, it’s a good idea to have two USB Thumb Drives handy!
