   Edit (11 months of usage):Many of the reviews state that the sound quality is not that great. Although it may differ person to person, but here is one single point for that – everything depends upon the quality of input. On Apple Music (lossless audio), the speaker outperforms. Amazon Music or Jio Saavn even with High streaming audio quality provides not so good results at the same level of volume via Bluetooth. HDMI input from TV or from USB with a Dolby audio movie sounds exactly as those Harmans in theater. Don’t compare quality of audio with loudness. A volume of level 24 from mobile’s Music app is different from level 24 from TV. Overall, I am very much satisfied with the speakers and would recommend to anyone with a good understanding of music. Also, do understand that if you want to stay with music with free services, the audio quality is compromised comparatively. So also consider the input source while making a decision.——————————-Original Review:One of the excellent soundbars with crystal clear sound, thumping bass, excellent ergonomics, with perfect coordination of lows, mids, high. Do not expect it to be a 5.1 if you are looking to set up a home theatre with physical speakers; but from a 2.1 channel soundbar, the virtual surround sound provides the best results for a mid-size living room. The sound is processed with extremely good quality output with Dolby when connected with HDMI ARC. Movies are excellent with JBL’s sound and often give a feeling of a tight theatre sound with a deep punch in the bass. Overall, extremely happy with the product.Soundbar has physical buttons on the top of it, with a decent clickable feel to it. The mesh at front of the soundbar is metallic and gives a very elegant look to it. The plastics also do not feel light quality anywhere and provide a robust feeling while handling.The wireless subwoofer is amazing and produces decent bass with the best results when kept nearby soundbar in my opinion. Connectivity is flawless with a touch of a button. There are no physical buttons on the subwoofer apart from the connection button.Compared to the recent Sony’s release 5.1 (which is 400 RMS) channel HT S40R, Samsung, within the same price range, I find JBL’s quality (with 300 W) far better than both and worth of money. In the case of Yamaha, they have 3 soundbars listed on their official website with others out of stock from a long time for some reason. Out of them, YAS-109 is not at par with a customer’s expectation with Yamaha. Bose provides amazing punch as well, but since they were out of my budget, I didn’t consider them.The Bluetooth connection may seem okay-ish with some devices like Saregama Caravan, some BT devices like TV/android boxes, but flawless with laptops, mobiles and newer generation Bluetooth devices.Packaging is standard and neat, containing a good quality remote, batteries, HDMI cable, manuals, wall mounts, product warrantee and other documents in their respective plastic pouches.

Don’t consider sound output WATT because it’s just a number in some soundbars lower WATT gives more volume output than higher WATT. So shortlist in online, Experience physically in offline and choose accordingly.GUIDE: First select the sound signature you like then choose the bass you want, later on go for the specification and features. In addition choose a bar which has tweeter’s (it adds more clarity to the vocal and instrument’s) along with race track drivers and subwoofer which has lower bass (you will feel the vibration of bass).

   Extremely Disappointed with JBL
   I had one of the worst experiences with JBL. My product went completely dead in less than 3 months of use. When I contacted support, technicians came and said they’d need to order replacement parts. Every 15 days during my follow-up, I was told the part had arrived—but each time, I was also told the new part arrived was faulty and had to be reordered. This has happened three times now.I finally gave up and ordered a Zebronics soundbar as a backup. Honestly, it sounds better than JBL and cost me just 3/4 of the price.Really disappointed—never expected this kind of poor product quality and worse after-sales support from a brand like JBL.

   Seriously intense and loud bass from the huge subwoofer. I even had to turn it down. Awesome at parties.Really easy installation. Just plug HDMI into the ARC port of TV and it’s automatic – tv speakers off and the soundbar is controlled by the tv remote. Only need the sound bar remote to adjust bass level.Very impressed. Love it.

   Strong sound and performance for a large room, but if the volume was up to 100, it would be better. I strongly recommend JBL. Thank you
