Jeff H Fitzgerald –
WOW!!!! I have been looking for a stand-alone Bluetooth speaker that sounds like a true 2-speaker stereo system speaker should, but that is small and portable and looks good in the house. This is absolutely it – the sound quality is great, it’s powerful with a bass that you can feel in the floor, walls and your seat, and its looks are on point. Very, very happy with this. Also, I should point out that the One Plus speaker can also be combined with another One Plus speaker so you can actually have the 2 speaker set up if you want it. I may do that for pairing across multiple floors, or put one outside on days we’re spending time outside, but for now this is EXACTLY what I was looking for.
Aurelio Torres Laster –
Sounds good but taking off one star due to lack of multipoint connectivity
S Boulet –
It’s beautiful, but sound quality is just okay. Bass is disappointing, highs are a bit muffled, and it distorts badly at higher volumes, unlike comparable Marshall products. I’ll keep it because I like the way it looks on my nightstand and it will typically be used at lower volumes, but I definitely wouldn’t buy another, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.
BeachEd –
I bought one of these speakers from Klipsch. It worked pretty well and sounded decent. I had no trouble with connecting it to my laptop and it automatically re-connected (via Bluetooth) whenever I re-booted. I bought a second one of the speakers, but it was a mistake. Initially, it took 30 minutes of hassling with Bluetooth and the speaker control buttons to be able to connect them using Klipsch’s Broadcast Mode. It was a bit frustrating, and it isn’t actually stereo. Now, whenever the laptop is turned off (or goes into sleep mode), I have to go through a factory reset of the primary speaker, remove a re-add the Klipsch Audio device in Bluetooth and finally fiddle around for 5-10 minutes to get Broadcast Mode working again. Then you still have to remember to change the playback device in Windows’ Sound Control options. In the end it takes up to 15 minutes to get both speakers working together (still only in Mono) over and over again. This takes a lot of the fun out of listening to movies, music, etc. I’m not certain why Klipsch hasn’t implemented TWS for these speakers, but I’m hoping that they can at least improve Broadcast Mode.
Anotherjoe –
I like the speaker, sound is decent, the design is excellent that’s why I bought this one. But it is overpriced, but again I needed the design. It matches my other Furnitures. The annoying part is the volume knob, it has weird click/roster position in it. So it’s either too loud or too quiet, it doesn’t let you just smooth roll up and down the volume like an old stereo would. Also, the equalizer on the phone is counterintuitive, I’d much rather have it on the speaker instead of always having to unlock my phone and open the app to play with the settings.
